Once I had a love and it was divine! I first fell in love with a dream of who I was. I was gazing into the tunnel of another dimension: all my selves were a swirling confluence of spirit and flesh. I am everyone I’ve ever been and still much more; I can tell you who I am, but never how long she’ll stay. Fragmentary Girl is an ongoing series that considers life as a series of fragments, with memories and visions of past and future selves bleeding through. This series is directly inspired by Sylvia Plath: “I am still so naïve; I know pretty much what I like and dislike; but please, don’t ask me who I am. A passionate, fragmentary girl, maybe?”
